La Lovie Aerodrome
Reproduced below is a section of the Proven map of 1918 that shows the position and boundary of la Lovie aerodrome as it was in 1918. The buildings (in brown) were already on the map, but I have indicated which hangars were used by 21 Squadron and those by 23 Squadron. I have also included an overhead photo (courtesy of Google Maps) overlaid by the boundary of la Lovie aerodrome. Though la Lovie was a major aerodrome in the Poperinge region of the Western Front, it was never home to 6 Squadron during WW1.
